Irresponsible Journalism - Pune Mirror Publishes a False News To Influence a Pending Court Case
On 1st march 2018 (Thrusday) Pune Mirror Published a Front Full Page Fake Cover Story against Zeeshan Restaurant - Apna Hyderabadi Food with a subject line "Residents of viman nagar housing society win fight against restaurant owners" Story was posted by Archana More.
Before we share other details abut this Fake Story we will like to share that how incorrect is the Subject Line Itself.
1. Nitron Landmark is a Condominium Apartment and not a Housing Society and thus the subject line of the article itself is incorrect. Legally there is a major difference between a Condominium Apartment and Housing Society. And the major difference is which is the key point in this case is In society flat owner has to obtain permission from the “Managing Committee” to let out his flat, but in a condominium apartment owners can give their apartment on lease, leave and license without approval from the “Board of Managers”. In the body of the article Editor has called it a Condominium Apartment herself everywhere as she was aware no one remembers the body of the article. People will always remember and read the Subject line.

2. The title says Residents win fight against Restaurant Owners but the body of the email no where has name of the restaurant Owners instead it mentions the name of property owners and addressed them as the one running the restaurant which is again not true read this "Their objection was against Kanifnath Paraji Changulpai, Siddhika Sachin Changulpai and Ajinkya Rajendra Zambare, who have now been sued for running the restaurant."
3. It is surprising to see a Popular News paper like Pune Mirror has published that Zeeshan Owners have lost the fight without making enough findings and checking the documents. The truth is that the case is still pending in Court and the restaurant is running successfully and serving delicious Hyderabadi delicacies to its customers.
So now we know that the Subject Line itself of the Cover Story is incorrect and composed to make the issue look against the Restaurant and in favor of Mr Rao (A Builder who is driving this fight for personal benefits). This story will influence the pending court case which is still in the court. The paper cutting of this News article can also be used by opponents to get the restaurant licence canceled.
The Story of the article is also completely biased and untrue. The residential property has already been converted into commercial property and can be used as a Restaurant. In fact most of the popular restaurants in viman nagar is running in a row house converted into a commercial property Example: Chopsticks Spice Malabar, Lazeez By Hyderabadi Delicacies, Chang's, Chai, Cafe Coffee Day are few of them in the long list of Names.
Most of the points including inconvenience to the society members, pollution, drainage has already been addressed. Zeeshan Restaurant has invested a lot and are using new technology to make sure there is no sound and air pollution because of Exhaust. They keep there premises clean, close the restaurant on time. Also Article says "most of the society members are senior citizen" as this one statement can bring in lot of support from people reading the article but again this is not true as most of the flats are rented out to young college students and most of these students are the customers of Zeeshan.
